* What is a DENIER?

A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the yarn used to make stockings and tights.

The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the finer and more transparent the stocking or tights. Conversely, the higher the number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker they are and the less visible the skin.
